TypeScript + Rust Developer – micro1

micro1 is a data engine that helps AI labs train foundational models and enterprises build AI agents. The company is seeking an expert TypeScript + Rust Developer to join a customer’s team for cutting-edge AI training and codebase modernization projects.

📋 Responsibilities include:
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions in TypeScript and Rust
– Design, implement, and refactor complex systems with focus on codebase migrations and rewrites
– Create and curate high-quality human data for AI training and evaluation
– Follow best practices including code reviews, testing, and documentation
– Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize codebases in both languages
– Maintain 6+ hours daily overlap with Eastern Time zone

🔑 Requirements:
– 5+ years of professional software development experience
– Idiomatic fluency in TypeScript and Rust with production-level work
– Strong background in codebase migrations and multi-language environments
– Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
– Experience producing human-labeled data for AI/ML (preferred)
– Ability to work independently in a remote global team
