Nigeria is preparing for one of its biggest Bitcoin Pizza Day celebrations yet.
On Friday, May 22, 2026, crypto communities across Nigeria will join the worldwide Global Pizza Party, a Bitcoin Pizza Day celebration coordinated by PizzaDAO. The global campaign brings communities together in hundreds of cities to celebrate the famous first real-world Bitcoin transaction, when 10,000 BTC was used to buy two pizzas on May 22, 2010.
